Seidman|Any Philadelphian—or ex-Philadelphian like me—should know about Furness' work. There are two indelible buildings—The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the U. of Pennsylvania Library. Either of these structures are worth the price of admission, which is buying the book.
